Loved my first slim 3.0 that I bought almost 7 years ago. It finally got so frayed that the corners no longer covered my cards properly and they started to rub against my jeans inside the pocket (ruining a couple of pairs of jeans). Can’t believe it lasted that long.
It was ready to get another in a heartbeat, but the online shipping fees to Canada were half the price of the wallet! So, I looked elsewhere… only to discover no one else makes a wallet this small at this price (even with the shipping cost). Most card holder wallets are at least 1/2 an inch larger in length and height. So I caved and bought it again.
The wallet nicely fits 5 cards in the pocket and another in the outside sleeve. Over time the wallet will loosen but I would suggest not forcing in more cards. I was eventually able to fit 8 cards in my old wallet over time but I think that also made it wear faster.
Giving 4 stars only because it’s based on my experience with my old wallet and have only had the new one a few days. I hope the quality has remained the same over the years.
If you’re looking for a very small, minimalist and inexpensive wallet, get this!
This is the second Dash wallet I've purchased. The first lasted for 4 years or so before I decided it was time for a new one. It's a quality wallet that holds all the essentials in an unobtrusive manner. Would recommend if your looking for a quality minimalist wallet.
Let me first say, I LOVE my first Dash wallet. You can see in the photo how beat up it is from years of use. When I decided I'd buy another one I was very happy to see the Dash was now available in black. It's been a couple months, and I've gone back to my previous Dash wallet. Hence the three star rating.
The first reason I prefer my previous Dash wallet is it holds all the cards I need. The Dash 3.0 while having superior stitching made it too inconvenient to carry the same amount of cards. I pulled two cards out from my EDC, and the Dash 3.0 is still too tight. Mind you, I carried all my cards for six weeks in an attempt to break in the 3.0. I never had to break in my previous Dash, it was a great fit from the start.
The second reason is completely subjective, and probably won't matter to others. You can see from the photo the direction of the main pocket opening changed from left side to the right side. After years of carrying my previous Dash, I find myself fiddling with the wallet whenever I take it out because I carry it with the outside pocket facing up. It's an annoyance, and if there were an option to order Dash 3.0 with the same pocket configuration as my previous Dash wallet I would.
Overall, I would recommend Dash to anyone looking to get a minimalist wallet. I'm just disappointed the new product didn't fit my needs.
5 stars product, I saw this on a youtuber and I Searched online where to buy it. Is very small and minimal, ideal for everyone Who wants to carry less of money, cards ecc
Happy with my purchase. Used the first Dash wallet for several years. Now it is time for a new Dash ;-)
