The Dash Access Slim Bifold Wallet is a fine item, beautiful and austere. Here are a few tips about its use that you might find apt: As the wallet wears in, your main card may snag on the edge of the push-out slot. A light press down with a thumbnail on the edge of the slot, or a pluck up with a fingernail on the card, will release it. Perhaps your thumb lacks traction, and slips on the card. If so, a quarter-inch patch of double-sided clear tape centered on the card in the push-out window will provide just enough grip to get that card triumphally out and ready for action. It’s expedient to fold your wad of bills a quarter-inch off-center when tucking them in the left side of the wallet. That way, the whole wad will open in your hand with aplomb, without the inner bills remaining folded, and perhaps fluttering forlornly to the ground. If you wish to use the right-hand side of the wallet for easy access to something a little wider than cards, the stitches are easily plucked, so that it functions like the left-hand side of the wallet. (I carry a three leaf booklet of wallet windows for drivers licence, calendar, paper items, post-its, etc). Truly, this wallet is a triumph of form and function. It would well behoove you to bring it into your life.
The picture is my old wallet, which is starting to show some pocket-wear after a few years of daily use. I bought two copies of the same wallet as backups for when it finally wears out. Not carrying a huge wallet in my back pocket has made my back feel a lot better than it used to feel. Thanks for inventing the best wallet around.
Just like other users who left a comment here, I find it very convenient and functional but the stitching keep falling off (as shown in photo) and the rubber edge start wearing out after less than 1 month of use (as shown in photo).
Otherwise it is no doubt a well designed great wallet.
I really want to believe in the Dash Wallet because the price is incredibly reasonable, however the quality is a little lacking. The wallet isn't completely falling apart by any means, but things like the stitching at certain points is seemingly frayed, and the material where the wallet bends cracks and peels exposing the cardboard material inside.
Customer support is helpful and fast. I only wish they the few manufacturing flaws could be corrected. A generous 2 year warranty makes up for it for the most part.
I've had the Dash Access Slim Bifold wallet for almost exactly a year now. While I love the design and functionality of this wallet, it's getting worn enough that I'm already looking for a replacement.
Love the easy access card holder slot on the outside
Like that it has both a folded money area and card holder slots inside
Took a few months of use before the outside card slot became smooth to use. At first the card was constantly catching on some stitching until it became pliable enough to come out smoothly each time
Since only 6 months of use or so it's been in a constant state of deterioration. Still usable, but the rubber edges have continued to break off and there is always some stitching coming loose
