I've been using Ridge wallets for the past 3-4 years (1.0-3.0). The only thing about the ridge wallet was that it added some weight to my EDC. I figured it was time for a change regardless wanting to buy another Ridge wallet at some point.
I received this Dash wallet from their website after knowing about them throughout the years. I was never interested in a leather wallet until now. I gotta say the Dash wallet bifold is really good for the price. As I thought I'd be downgrading in quality,I love the weight and size as an everyday wallet. Much wider than the Ridge, but I like I can store cash without having to fold twice. With the ridge, it gets troublesome the more bills you have. I don't carry cash often, but when I do with the Ridge it's annoying.
I hold 8 cards 2-3 bills at a time and my pockets feel weightless. For under $20 I think I came out with a steal. It looks professional and a little luxe.
I've been using the wallet for 2 weeks now and I am extremely satisfied with it's make and functionality.
I am able to carry 6 cards (tucked 2 behind ID), 1 photo ID and bills.
I am not very happy with the material. Although it seems very durable, I wish this was available in genuine leather, suede or better materials.
It has been 2 months since I bought it and this happened. Pic 1 because I put many cards in that pocket I guess, pic 2 from every day use. I take responsibilty for the first problem I guess, but the second means they should make an upgrade.
The wallet has the perfect size for me, I'm very happy with it, I would buy it again
Already reached out to Jacob offline about the design issue for the inside flap catching items you try to take out of the inside pocket. Material also seems to be a bit puffy, making the wallet a bit thicker than anticipated even when empty. Wallet is apparently dot not have filler according to their support team, so unclear why it is puffy.
