Let me first say, I LOVE my first Dash wallet. You can see in the photo how beat up it is from years of use. When I decided I'd buy another one I was very happy to see the Dash was now available in black. It's been a couple months, and I've gone back to my previous Dash wallet. Hence the three star rating.
The first reason I prefer my previous Dash wallet is it holds all the cards I need. The Dash 3.0 while having superior stitching made it too inconvenient to carry the same amount of cards. I pulled two cards out from my EDC, and the Dash 3.0 is still too tight. Mind you, I carried all my cards for six weeks in an attempt to break in the 3.0. I never had to break in my previous Dash, it was a great fit from the start.
The second reason is completely subjective, and probably won't matter to others. You can see from the photo the direction of the main pocket opening changed from left side to the right side. After years of carrying my previous Dash, I find myself fiddling with the wallet whenever I take it out because I carry it with the outside pocket facing up. It's an annoyance, and if there were an option to order Dash 3.0 with the same pocket configuration as my previous Dash wallet I would.
Overall, I would recommend Dash to anyone looking to get a minimalist wallet. I'm just disappointed the new product didn't fit my needs.

I bought both the DASH SLIM ELASTIC WALLET 4.0 and this DASH SLIM WALLET 3.0 to compare. The packaging was simple and elegant. Both wallets are well made and compact.
The elastic wallet 4.0 is not as easy to use as the leather 3.0, as the elastic tends to grip the cards more, but you can cram more into it.
I love the leather 3.0; so light, so small (smaller than the elastic 4.0), fits everything I need - I'll be using the leather 3.0!
As someone who's been using a dash wallet for the last 3 years I decided to upgrade and get a new one. It's high quality, with noting in the wallet it feels solid and really durably. Doesn't feel like a $20 wallet but more of a $50 wallet...i really love the texture as its not just smooth but give you something to grip onto, highly recommend as you wont be dissapointed!
